Since 1995, Anneke has been a dedicated member of the Bandung Heritage Society, actively contributing to research on cultural heritage buildings across Indonesia. One of the pioneering female architects in the country, she also served as Project Manager for the revitalization of 11 cultural heritage buildings in Jakarta's Kota Tua district between 2014 and 2016. In 2019, she created "Anata Rupa" for the Bintaro Design District. This inclusive design installation served as an advocate for preserving Indonesia's vibrant tribal colors and weaving traditions. Anneke is also actively engaging in the research of cultural heritage rescue efforts in Tondano and Wakatobi.

Astrid holds a bachelor’s degree in French Literature and pursue her career as a journalist for almost a decade, before spending her final years in the media industry as part of Kompas Gramedia Group news team.

Astrid was born and raised in Dumai, a small town in Riau Province. Her passion for food brought her to Aceh to learn how to cook proper Acehnese food, also to study about the spices used in the staple Acehnese kitchen before opening Ayam Tangkap Aceh Rayeuk in South Jakarta around 10 years ago.
Astrid is heavily involved in Aku Cinta Makanan Indonesia (ACMI), an Indonesian culinary enthusiasts movement, and is busy promoting Indonesian cuisine by doing various culinary diplomacy programs both throughout Indonesia and abroad.

Other part of ACMI activity is doing Indonesian Food training for vocational schools across Indonesia.

Astrid curates SME F&B products for various institutions in Indonesia, both for government institutions or private sections.

Astrid is also a caterer, and have successfully provided her services in big events, such as Jakarta’s Asian Games in 2018, and Pekan Olahraga Nasional in Papua in 2021.
